The Automated Scanning Service provides service for any organization that requests it for a host of which they are the registered administrative authority, as defined and enforced by the relevant registrar, or by permission from such an administrative authority.
Registrants of the Automated Scanning service must indemnify Transition Systems, of any and all liability for claims made against the vulnerability scans for which the Automated Scanning service is providing. By using this service, registrants are claiming to Transition Systems that they:
- are administrative or responsible for the hosts that they are scanning;
- are not using resources that they do not have the right to use;
- will not violate and are not violating any applicable laws; and
- if such violations occur, these violations are the sole responsibility of the registrant and not Transition Systems.

The Automated Scanning Service, henceforth called the Service, is provided by Transition Systems. Transition Systems assumes no responsibility for the accuracy, errors, omissions, performance, uses, or material contained in the Service.
