A wider network of dealers offering Polycom IP conferencing and telephony solutions range of products in Asia market
SINGAPORE – 10 JANUARY 2007 –Transition Systems today announced that they have been appointed by Polycom as a distributor in the Asia market. This appointment is due to expected growth of demand for Polycom’s IP conferencing and telephony solutions products. This move expands the existing Polycom distribution network to better service Polycom’s partners and resellers in the region.
Headquartered in Singapore with 12 offices in Southeast Asia and India, Transition Systems Asia has an established and extensive geographical network of more than 2,000 resellers in the region. With such strong foothold in Asia, Transition System Asia is able to undertake complex, cross-border networking projects and fulfill regional deals quickly and effectively.
Other than its accumulated years of expertise and focus in networking solutions, Transition System Asia is chosen for its team of experienced, customer-oriented operational and technical staff who support, train and advise local resellers. Transition Systems Asia believes in constantly training their staff and resellers, to provide the best customer service and technical support. Transitions System Asia invested in a fully-wired, interconnected state-of-art training facility in Malaysia to provide hands-on experience for their staff, as well as their resellers.
Polycom has selected Transition Systems for its ability to deliver efficient time-to-market response and value-added services to partners and resellers across the region.
“We have selected Transition Systems to build on the synergy with channels and partners relationship that we already have in Asia,” said Hansjoerg Wagner, Vice President and Managing Director of Polycom Asia Pacific. “With their years of experience in IP networks and having Polycom’s Strategic Alliance vendor relationships already existing in their portfolio, it will greatly complement and help Polycom to build on the momentum in this particular growing market.”
“We are very excited to be appointed as distributor for Polycom,” said Jonathan Lee, Group Managing Director, Transition Systems. “We believe Polycom offers a complete range of technically proficient IP video conferencing and telephony solutions that are well poised to take advantage of the new opportunities that continue to present themselves in today's digital age, where connectivity has become a necessity. Polycom will significantly enhance our product offerings to our channel partners."
